It might be you need to edit your instance and this can be easily done. This articles will also cover how to delete an instance and clear all the data that have been logged.

For both editing, deleting and clearing data samples the first thing you will need is to go to the desired instance.

• In the SIA portal go to  Instances
• In the list of instances click on the desired instance  Instance name. You will be presented to the overview of the instance.
• In the Information section press the  Edit instance button. You will be presented to a dialogue with the instance information

Edit instance

In order to edit in the instance do the following steps in dialogue:

• In the dialogue modify the parameters you want to change in the instance
  • Instance parameters are described in Instance parameters‍ 
• Press  Save instance

Delete instance

To delete an instance do the following steps:

• In the lower right corner of the dialogue press the Delete instance
• A popup will open and ask if you are sure you want to delete the instance.
  • If you are sure, press OK

Clear logged data

By clearing all logged data you will be able to delete ALL the data records stored for instance. This means all the items data records will be deleted. To wipe out all the data records do the following in the dialogue:

• In the lower right corner of the dialogue press the Clear logged data
• A popup will open and ask if you are sure you want to delete all the data records for the instance.
  • If you are sure, press OK
